Australia is facing its worst droughts on record. Scorching temperatures, severe lack of rainfall, and grossly inadequate water management are causing our lakes and rivers to dry up.

By prioritising the coal industry over families and farmers, failing to act on the climate crisis, and continuing to burn coal, State Governments are exacerbating the drought. Instead of acknowledging their failings and fixing the problems they’ve caused, they want to pass responsibility for the drought to you - as your individual problem to solve.

DON’T LET STATE GOVERNMENTS FORCE YOU TO FIX THEIR MESS

DEMAND WATER MINISTERS SECURE SAFE DRINKING WATER FOR YOU

Raise your voice and join thousands of Australians demanding State Governments take action on the drought. Demand that state water ministers prioritise families & farmers over the coal industry and restrict coal fired power stations from taking safe drinking water.

Hold them to account now.

Extreme drought is ravaging Australia. Families in many towns are avoiding showering to save every drop. Locally owned businesses can’t function properly. Farmers are battling to keep their emaciated stock alive.

The climate crisis means that this drought is worse than anything we’ve experienced before.

Yet the governments responsible for fuelling the drought are failing to secure safe drinking water. Instead their actively prioritising the coal industry above families and farmers. Across Queensland and New South Wales, State Governments are allowing coal fired power stations to funnel up to 50,000 Olympic sized swimming pools of water each year.

State Governments need to protect the people. Not coal.

Call on state water ministers to take responsibility for their actions and secure safe drinking water for families and farmers.
